Crafty Fox is Brand Amplifier Finalist

Brand Amplifier

Back in December, I was delighted to discover that The Crafty Fox Market had been selected as one of 20 finalists for Brand Amplifier

Brand Amplifier is an exciting initiative aimed at encouraging and assisting emerging female-run companies in Lambeth.  20 finalists have been selected to take part in four weekly workshops where successful women pass on tips on how to best visualise, promote and enhance your business. This culminates in an opportunity to present business ideas to a panel who will select the winning brands.

Claire Morton of Alchemy Events shares her experiences
Brand Amplifier is the brainchild of the very impressive JP from Brixton based creative communications agency JP Creative. Each week, a different inspirational speaker has been schooling us in topics such as 'finding your voice' and 'How to do PR on No Money at All'. With only one workshop left before the presentations, I'm determined to soak up all the information I can.

We always have lots of questions for JP
I'm proud to be learning alongside Hairy Jayne who sold her handmade hair products and candles at The Crafty Fox Christmas Market. I'm also in the company of several jewellers including the lovely Julie from John & Pearl who I originally met through Brixton Makerhood

The diverse range of businesses is really interesting. Everything from personal branding (Be Styled UK) to the world's first bespoke design toughened glass speakers (Rinz Sound). It was lovely to be joined by Emily from The South London Sling Library. Emily provides helpful advice on baby carriers and you can even rent them from her. A friend had previously recommended this service to me so it has been great to meet her in person.

The experience has been fantastic and I would highly recommend local business-women to apply next year. The presentations and awards ceremony will be on 19th February - wish me luck!!!
